Hi, first time poster, but long time user, I've used Adium since the .3 days, Keep up the good work.

However, I do have a question, I was using the Bright Blue list style with the borderless window and no alternating grid config to make the list look a little like spotlight and fit with the rest of the OS.

But my tastes are changing, am now using the Pure Black scheme to make the contact list look akin to the black scheme of the new iPods and Apple's Mac OS X page. But anyway, when I click on a contact or group, the name highlights the OS default blue. Is there a way I could make each name field turn white with black text when I click on them?

Oh, and I'm sure you get a lot of this, but I too am awaiting the possible Voice/Video features.

The text highlight color is handled by OS X. The only way to change it is to go into System Preferences -> Appearance. Unfourtunately, I don't think there is a white text on black option that will fit your needs

*Edit* Well, after playing around with the appearance settings a bit, making the highlight color black, I get an even more desireable effect than I had originally intended. Heh, go figure. It does a slight fade out around the name in the opposite direction I'd set the group labels to be, a quite nice effect indeed. Look under the MSN group, at the guy playing Lifehouse. (aka: me)

Note that the contact's text would be black, I've just whited them out for security reasons.

I really enjoy sublty over glaring contrasts...

The highlight color has already been made customizable (defaulting to the systemwide color) for Adium 1.0.

Now that's just cool.
