I just saw the announcement from Google that they're talking to (more? all?) other Jabber servers, but am having limited luck talking between my GTalk and normal-jabber names.

I can connect to my gmail/talk.google.com account, and send from jabber.org or myjabber.net to gmail.com, but not the other way around. Anyone having better luck / advice?

Umm, everything is working fine here, I have added Gtalk people to my Jabber name, and people have added my Jabber name to their Gtalk accounts. I can send messages to them and vise versa.

This is still new; be patient and let the Google folks get rid of the bugs and such.
