Is this possible? I'm getting messages from random users not on my ICQ list. I haven't seen an option to deny messages from unauthorized users. I know it's possible with the Miranda client (for Windows).
TIA
Peter

Uhm, BUMP.
Nobody knows? I'm going crazy with all these people messaging me all the time.

Do NOT bump threads, especially when you posted at the time you did and then bumped less than 12 hours later.
If someone knows, they will respond.
Do a search for icq on the adium general forums, you'll see multiple threads that will be similar to this thread.

Sorry about that but it's as annoying as people spamming me.

So your response to people spamming you is to spam us?
Like Tick said, search the forums. This has been asked before.

Well I said I was sorry. Just a desperate cry out for help
I actually did search but didn't find anything in particular that dealt with this problem.

Use the official ICQ client to set that for now. Adium will support it in 1.0
