hey sorry guys, I think when I compiled the Deployment build, I compiled libgaim using Development target...
that might be trouble

could you try downloading the file again and let me know if it works at all? (I edited the download link)

Thanks!

ok, sorry
I'll get one of the devs to help me probably.
I'm kinda clueless at this point. :(

Would it be possible to get a zip (or some such archive) of the project (without the build folder of course) posted up so we could see if we can build it ourselves and then list the steps? Personally I'd find that easier than stabs in the dark without the project itself in front of me.

Email me and let me know what you've done so far. I'm Chris that emailed you the other day.

i wonder how this is doing, i know you are busy man, iif you can find a way to share the source code, then some devs can help you out.

If the source was posted many users could just build themselves a development build and be happy with that..

I uploaded a zip file with content from my adium directory.
You can try use XCode to compile it.

Use it at your own risk. I know of one crash situation:
When another user adds you to their list, you're prompted if you want to add them too.
This might cause crash and I haven't figured out why.

Hey man, it works awesome. I think it would be best if someone could set up a torrent for this file. I'd do it, but I have no idea how
haha

To actually retrieve contact's msn spaces URL, I think I need to use web services.
Indigo (Windows Communication Foundation) is great to use on Windows with .NET!
I've used another one for Java that wasn't very good...
If somebody knows a good one for C, please let me know!

MSNP13 is another huge change... it's moving to totally dependent on web services. (A good news in the long run I think).
A lot of changes will be needed to go from MSNP11 to MSNP13 though. :(
Good news is, I'll have experience tying web services library with gaim after getting msn spaces url to work.

Thanks :)

A note for those using localized versions of Adium (like me). You need to use the English version (just disable your own language) in order for the new preferences dialog to show up.

I have some problems with this version.
- I don't manage to build a deployment build, it just gives me an error.
- When I connect using the development build it refuses to connect to my most used msn account...

To bad am I no coder and a complete noob when it comes to this things so I am sorry to say that I cannot do anything with it, but perhaps you were interested.

I've used it, and it works nice, good job TDK.

The only problem I've come across is that for when it views what the contact is currently listening to, it doesn't display it very well.

I'm assuming that the contact cannot view what I'm listening to with iTunes, or would that be adapted on in a later revision? or is it not possible?

dumbkid, I found out that scripts (like %_music) are not resolved when put in your personal message.
