Per-Contact Voice Settings

Post by hal »

Hi,

I've been using Adium for a while now, and I became dependen upon it's ability for voice output of received lines (I usually don't look at the screen, so it's nice to be able to know what the other person is writing). A nice feature of an older version of Adium was that you were able to select a different voice/pitch/speed for each contact, enabling me to recognize who is writing without the need for mentioning the nickname.
However, this feature was removed from the UI some time ago. The old settings still stick and work fine, but I can't change them any more.

Maybe it's possible to add the UI for it back in? Especially not being able to change it for new contacts is very annoying.

It'll be back, and far better than ever when it is :)
