For the second time now, When I updated Adium to a newer version (in this case to .89), it asks me to reauthorise all the plugins I have installed, this is not to bad, but a slight annoyance. I'm sure it wouldn't be to hard to get adium to keep a .plist or something of the authorised plugins in the prefs so that it "remembers" them between versions.

This is intentional IIRC. Plugins may no longer function correctly with a new version of Adium, thus the alert is intended to remind you to check for new ones that work well.

It is intentional but also suboptimal. #1005 is the existing ticket on the issue.
