Invisible mode not working.

It seems to me that when I choose invisible mode from the status menu that it doesnt work, because people still talk to me, and I can still see myself when I use iChat to log in on a different screen name. What happened? it used to work.

if you did, did you check if the invisible state really is invisible (i mean, you can set an away status, but call it invisible)

Yeah, I did everything, but still when I sign on my old screen name, I can still see my new one online, and talk to it and everything without getting an "invisivble" away message

In Invisible mode I am invisible to AIM users, but not to other Adium users. They see me.

Are you sure your setting yourself as invisible for all accounts. not just AIM?

Yes, I use the pull-down status menu on the contacts list and the main menu Status shows invisible for each account. But Adium users can see me.
