emoticon equivalents not working

Not sure if this is a but, but...
I created an emoticon set. For the entry "Worried" I have 4 equivs:
:-s
:-S
:s
:S
Only the 2 with the capital S work! But yahoo uses the lower case s when you select this emote from the pop up. So when I receive it, I get the text instead of my emote. I'm using Adium 0.75.1 on Jaguar (10.2.8), is this possibly a bug?
