Jabber Account View Problem

Post by jyelloz »

I'm not sure if this is an oversight or just something that's in progress, but in the ESGaimJabberAccountView.nib file (current to r9027, on the main tree), the textField_connectHost outlet is not connected to the proper text field (or any text field). This doesn't allow Jabber to work in my personal builds. I connected it myself and it works fine.

Easily fixed *goes to do so* (I assume Resource, correct?)
Try my software!

#define ADIUMX pimp //by me
#define QUESTION ((2b) || (!2b))

It looks to me like it should go to the "server" field in the "setup" view, not the resource. The resource, I am led to believe, is an identifier with some relation to the nature of your Jabber connection (like, cell phone or home computer).

Hello,

ist this resolved in the actual 0.76 Version, because I am using this?
and I am connecting to a Jabber Server in our company and Adium won't show me the other accounts currently online, even if they are, they always appear as offline and this happens only with Adium as client.

regards
Markus

It sounds like a bug. The original post had nothing to do with the .7x series of releases.

Using a custom Jabber server? Do the users show up when using another Jabber client?
The duck still burns.

So this isn't an Adium bug? *confused*
