Either I am hacked, Adium is doing something odd, or this is one hell of a Easter Egg :-)

Friday, Jan 28th at 7:20 PM, my friend IM'd me, I was eating so the auto-reply kicked in:

I then left for a movie, when I came back, my machine was asleep, so I woke it up. I saw the IM window, it showed the log off messages that happen why a machine goes to sleep, but...

Here is where it gets odd:

At 12:00:32 AM, apparently I typed something, however, I was not here, no one was, I was at a movie, the house was empty.

What was typed was "options shitf k", which strangely, was something I typed to a friend the other day, to show him how to make the Apple logo. Notice the spelling error, as that is in my logs from the other day as well.

First thing I did was have my friend who I went to the movies with come and verify I was not insane, check on that. Next I pasted in the clipboard, it had something totally different in it, so no cats can be to blame for this.

My machine has been rebooted at least 2 times since I originally typed those three words.

Whats going on, is this some strange bug, how can Adium potentially store something beyond a reboot?

Could it be that AIM cound not send the message at the time, or had a comm problem, so it finally went through? if so, why did Adium cross post to the wrong user?

If you try to send a message to someone who's offline, a window will come up telling you that they're not online, and give you some choices. If you choose "send later", then the message will automatically be sent to them the next time they sign on. Could this be what happened?

I think it could very well be that, a delayed send, the trouble is that it sent the delayed message to the wrong user.
