How to auto-accept all authorization requests?

Is there a hidden pref for auto-accepting all authorization requests? I'm growing weary of the popups that I have to dismiss.

more-- I am asking about Adium's behavior where with MSN accounts (maybe others) people want to add me to their list or they want to talk to me or whatever so I get some notification asking me to authorize them to do so. I don't want to have to click Accept, I want it to happen automatically.

I think there's the option not to have authorisation requests at all (everyone can join your list) on the official MSN client?
If so, set it on with MSN and Adium should honour it.

If this is not the case, go to trac.adiumx.com and search if someone else asked about this (it might already exist?). If not, you can file a new ticket.

Correct. You can set this option with "Microsoft Messenger" for mac.

I'm not sure I agree with this fundamentally just from a security standpoint, especially when using a Windows machine. I'm not sure how or if it could be used in a hostile manner, outside of spamming, but I still don't like it as a concept.

You don't have to like it, you didn't request it.
