Word Wrap

Post by ends »

Hi,
When I set the width of my Adium to say... 3 inches, and I receive a message with words that goes beyond 3 inches, I have to scroll horizontally to view the words.

How do I set Adium such that "word wrap" takes place?

This should be in the Adium forum.

I assume you mean in the message view. This is a consequence of CSS/HTML and how it handles 'overflow' and is dependent on the message style you are using (some handle it perfectly, some not, IIRC)
Try my software!

#define ADIUMX pimp //by me
#define QUESTION ((2b) || (!2b))

I've never seen a message style handle this properly that I can think of, they all place scrollbars. Any ideas what the CSS /should/ show?

The best way would be CSS' truncation wrapping, but that's not in Safari (yet) ;)
