Don't hide Adium when not in focus?

When I have an Adium chat window open then I move focus to another app, the chat window disappears unless I refocus on Adium. How can I keep the Adium chat windows open, so that they can be unfocused and be kept open in the background?

This is just the message window, not the contact list window, correct?
Try looking in: Preferences -> Advanced -> Messages
There is an option down near the bottom of the messages tab to "Hide while Adium is in the background". If that's checked, Adium will do what you are describing, if you uncheck it, it should behave like you are asking.
