Offline messaging in Google Talk

Does Google Talk support offline messaging, and if so can you use the feature with Adium?

Google's Jabber servers don't fully support offline messaging yet. However some people taking a close look at their servers, it appears that they have it half implemented so far. So it might be coming soon.
