In regular AIM, I know that you can change the profile background color of the entire profile, or of a line of individual text. Is there a way to do that in Adium?
I couldn't find this in a Trac search but if this has already been answered, I apologize!
Background text in profile
To change the text's colors in such a fashion you'd use the Fonts window under Format. This window/palette has several color wells that allow you to alter the text and Adium will handle the rest once you're done.
EDIT: if I'm wrong it's because it's late for me

Ticket #922 appears to say that the requested changes are implemented in 1.0.
Well, I found all that documentation, and I do appreciate it, but it still is not working for me. Basically, it seems as it is supposed to be working, but I apparently just can't figure it out. Everytime I try, "change document color" when I am trying to change my profile it has absolutely no effect. It does work, however, in my messages.
Setting background colors does not work in 0.8x. There's a setDelegate: method that had to be set to get it working. It's working in 1.0svn currently (but apparently, away message background colors aren't set properly). We also read all the background colors properly in SVN as well.KTSings wrote:Well, I found all that documentation, and I do appreciate it, but it still is not working for me.
