first i want to say that I love what adium does with the dock icon, however I recently changed all my dock icons so they all match and really match the desktop. The only problem is that when I open adium the custom icon turns into a duck which really messes up the pattern. Is there away to get rid of adium from animating the dock or is there a very simple (i am no programmer) way to get my custom icon to be the adium dock icon as if it were a theme. thanks for any help.

you will have to make the dock icon a theme... i'd be glad to do it for you if you want me to... it wouldn't take me long... but of course, i need your icon... you can give it to me in an attachment via the forums i suppose

i don't know how to use an attachment on this forum but i hosted the file herehttp://www.homepage.mac.com/kdai482/_Aim.ico. it was a windows icon and i used pic2icon to get a mac one, then I used get info with cut and paste to apply the icon to adium. thank you for any help.

would you like to have me design it so it does different neat stuff when there's an alert or away or whatever??

p.s. the icon seems a bit rough around the edges... want that fixed or stay the same??

wow, quick response. the roughness is ok because it is always pretty small in the dock. concerning neat stuff. if it could alert me with people coming on and offline like the ducks that would be great. beyond that i cant think of anything else i would need.
