hi there a friend of mine uses a yahoo messenger ithink it is the normal one, but they send me little cartoon images and it just comes up as text oin my screen. how do i make the images default onmy adium?

Did you check under Preferences > Emoticons? Of course, I'm assuming you're talking about the animated emoticons in yahoo... were you referring to something else?

Edit: Oops. For those of you who read my original post, you may have been confused. I thought i was in a different forum... post fixed.

You may also enjoy going to http://adiumxtras.com/ and seeing the emoticons you can get there. Download a Yahoo set, double-click to install it, and enable it in the Preferences.
