Me, i have all my address book entries filled in, but i can't get it to work...maybe i'm just being dumb though.....i get to the name, and hit Enter, but no new message window pops up...also, if i keep goign with the action box or whatever it is called, and actually type the message in the quicksilver app, an IM never gets sent.

there's another way to use the plugin too... you can go inside the adium app, see a list of your contacts (whether or not they're in the address book) and use IM actions. that part doesn't work for me (same problem as MBHockey) but going into a contact and viewing a log does, except the logs should be opening in log viewer and not in safari.

download the latest version of the plugin it works so much better now

forum post by the developer says that the Applscript action is broken for IM'ing. Mine doesn't work when I try to use it to just open an IM window, but it works when I use the 'IM Text...' action.
Just to make sure, is everyone who is can't get the plug-in to work pressing the right arrow when bringing up Adium in Quicksilver? That will allow you to access your buddy list. It took me a while to figure that out.

Yeah that's how i'm using it, except it seems that QuickSilver is unable to open a new Adium chat window (not sure if it's QS or Adium's fault though). I read on that forum that it's something wrong with the Adium IM AppleScript.

Has anybody found out any more information on this... I just switched to QS from launchbar... and i'd love to use the adium plugin

It worked fine for me, but I don't think it works with .8b or current svn

so, the im text part of the plugin works fine, but i still cannot get it to show me who in my contact list is online. odd...
edit: the send text to.. function only works with aim users

Ok, this is strange. I can get QS to work, but ONLY if I already have at least one chat window open (doesn't have to the be the window for the target contact in QS) and if I use the "IM Text..." option.

Maybe it's just me, but I actually found that using the QS plugin was less efficient than using Adium itself. Defeats the purpose a bit
