advanced status messages

I want to ask how can I set status messages like: "my message" and imediately after this in the status the current track script?

For example "/iTunes" and "my message" it works, but I want "my message" and "/iTunes". How do I do this? Also I want to ask how can i set the /iTunes script to refresh a little faster because it takes 1 minute to change the status message after iTunes has started the new song?

Use other substitutions from the Edit->Insert Scripts menu.

Updating for iTunes data will be immediate with track changes in 1.0.

I can see the scripts, but I can not select any of them. I don't know why. Is there something that I need to select first?
