Mercury as a library for Adium MSN

Post by djmori »

I'm aware that devs don't spend much time developing MSN support, but I think after seeing how well everything is going with the joscar implementation (and after implemeting a jabber library in in the Summer Of Code list of ideas) you guys should consider doing something similar with msn in the long term.
Mercury is a java client that works preatty well... includes webcam suppornt and direct connect. Any ideas?

But aMSN is TCL.

It would be cool if you could certain code from the app, and make it workabled under Adium?

I always thought that Kopete was the devs first choice should it come to integrating a seperate MSN protocol. But that said there are some people working hard to make GAIM more feature full
