Group online/offline view question

Post by WickEd_Z »

I've tinkered around a little bit with the Sort Status view buttons and Adium preferences and whatnot, but am having trouble getting the desired effect for my group views.

Is it possible to just have all the Offline contacts appear in one group so when they are offline they are viewable almost as though they are not in a group (but in a set of contacts that is offline) and when they go online they sort to their respective groups.

Not a big problem because Hide Contacts (Apple + Shift + H) is a great little addition that makes switching views easy, but I just thought I'd see if it's possible because as far as I remember, this is how the official MSN client works (or at least with some MSN Plus! style enhancements I may have had on).

This is not possible in the current release

In Adium 1.0, there will be a toggle in the View menu "Show Offline Group" which does exactly what you describe.
The duck still burns.
