I don't think this was mentioned prior to this, but I don't feel like reading the thread for this or anything.(searching garnered nothing)
When I am prompted to authorize or deny the adding of a MSN contact, Adium consistently crashes. So, anyone else experienced this?

Just come to say (again) that the dev.s are utterly awesome. First: Tooltips no longer crash Adium! Yay! I missed them so... Second: I just noticed the 'remove link' button in the insert-link window. Very handy. (Icons are still a little mixed up, but...)
Also (OT), could someone advise me about RSS? What URL should I give an RSS reader for Adium? (
http://cia.navi.cx/stats/project/adium/.rss ?) Recommendations for apps?

NetNewsWire kicks serious ass as well (and there's a [url=
http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/8394]free version[url]).

I use NNW, primarily because it's free and I'm skint. It's a great app.

I was into NewsFire before it went pay. I guess I'm willing to pay for it, except that it sometimes has problems with remembering to keep updating feeds even after putting my PB to sleep. So, for now, I'm using NNW Lite, but I don't like it as much.

I find thunderbird to be pretty decent.

Thanks... I'm trying NetNewsWireLite, for now. (Thunderbird is more featureful - e-mail and all - than I want.) The problem was that none of the things I was trying liked RSS 2.0, I think: Once I got the RSS 1 feed, it works fine.

A few new bugs that I'm noticing lately. When I get a first IM from someone or double click on their name in the contact list to start a new conversation a new window opens instead of opening a new tab in my current window. I'm pretty sure that I have all of the preferences set correctly.
Also, sometimes when I drag a tab from one window into another window I completely lose the window that I was dragging. It shows up in the "Window" menu, but it is nowhere to be found, even if I try selecting it from the menu.

How lately? How many monitors do you have?

One monitor. I'd say that I've been seeing the lost window behavior for at least 3 or 4 days now. The first issue that I described seems to have been around for longer than that.

sometimes that happens, they are in the process of implementing things and sometimes not everything works right.. check back tomorrow, and revert to a previous .8 svn build

Is there any plan to make the new status window respect the same "enter/return" functionality that is specified under "general" for messaging?
I am continually hitting return just to make a new line, as i would in the message view, and accidentally setting my status instead.
It is quite annoying.
[edit: i'm aware of option-return and i do use it when i'm thinking, but my habit from the message view makes me continually try to just hit return]

Echoing problems with the build (9680). No problem, and this is of course all part of building from subversions. I was wondering however, what would the terminal command to revert to a previous version? say I liked the version from a day or two back, what can I do?
Also, I'm perfectly fine with waiting until it's working again, it's no problem.
Still VERY impressed with Adium .8!
