I have an issue with the latest build on svn, after going invisble, and I try to change my status, Adium can not get out of invisibility. Is this a known issue? (it was build 9870, forgot to mention that)

In the latest builds I believe they've removed the requirement for the 10.2.8 SDK so you should be able to build without it. I've not had chance to try it yet as im on my way to bed.

Bizzare SVN glitch. This has been happening ever since the new status system was implemented, I think.

I run on two displays, one being my powerbook's screen. the other a monitor. Whenever I'm using both as two different displays (not mirrored), chat invitations are stretched out oddly and there's nothing but a cancel button, so I can't accept chats. When mirroring is turned on or I'm just on the powerbook's screen, the chat invitations look fine.

I'm interested if anyones getting the same little bug that i am.



That black line just magically appeared and hasn't gone away for the last 3-4 days of builds ':?

I haven't had a look at the .8 build yet (can wait for a final compiled version), but what's the status of file transfers? Will .8 have a GUI for this? And will it work for all protocols? Or at least for MSN and AIM

Also, I really hope you add an auto-accept file transfers option.

I have been getting the black line ever since i have been compiling, which is a few months now.

I'm using a SVN build from this morning (sorry, i've forgotten how to find out what build number it is...can someone remind me). Problems:

1. MSN use display names as extended status does not work.
2. Adium will not connect to MSN if you start up my machine, log on to MSN, quit adium and then start adium, then try to conect to MSN. I think it also doesn't work if you log off MSN and then log back on...don't want to try, as i am sick of rebooting my machine tosday.
3. Should invislbe not have a black status icon rather than a red away one?
4. Should the appearance prefs not get a new icon now they include non conctact list stuff?
5. Can I stop growl alerts for people coming online showing up when I first connect?

I realise this is SVN and so is almost meant to be broken, but just thought I should pass on the probs i'm having.

just a thought: can the status dropdown show the status which is used by most of the online accounts? currently it switches back to available after selecting any status and it's quite confusing (at least for me)...

There IS a GUI showing the status of transfers and it works for all the protocols I use (msn aim) and you can also choose to have them auto accepted

That's also in the current version of the svn if you should get impatient and want to compile lol

I've been looking around for a thread about this, but couldn't find anything on it.

Are there plans to make the 'tooltip buddy icons' more uniform in .8? Currently, the icons from my address book are massive compared to the AOL/MSN buddy icons from the server.

I hope that makes sense...

This is how SVN works. Some changes take a while to be fixed. This one is well known, just everyone is busy.

I actualy kind of like the line, thats why I never reported it as a bug.... If it is a bug

cd into the directory

It shows more than just the revision number, but that's the only way I know of obtaining it.[/i]

does anyone else not having sounds on 9910? just curious, so i dont have to blame it on my system.

I have no problem with sounds on 9918, so maybe try updating.

hmm im using 9924 now..still nothing also no growl, so maybe i will get around to delete some plists from adium when i get back from class. at like 11pm today
