I'm on 9923 and I have to say I really like the simplification of preferences that is going on.

This is how SVN works. Some changes take a while to be fixed. This one is well known, just everyone is busy.

BLAST!! i totally dumped everything adium last night trying to fix this (i saw a screen shot where there wasnt a gap) and now i cant get it to stay in the upper left hand corner =/

Same with me, I dumped nearly everything to fix something, it fixed it but now every time I start adium the contact list window moves to the middle of the screen instead of upper left corner.

I had this problem a while back, I wiped everything from my system, including the adium .plist files, (I can't remember where they are located ). But there are some adium .plists that remember window locations, you could try deleting those first, if someone could tell you where they are, that would be great

There IS a GUI showing the status of transfers and it works for all the protocols I use (msn aim) and you can also choose to have them auto accepted

That's also in the current version of the svn if you should get impatient and want to compile lol

I didn't need to with mine but i don't know if you'll have to with different types of routers.

is there any way to find out the revision number of the version on the server so that i don't waste time update when hardly anything has changed since i last svn update'd? tia, bw

Yes. You'll want to forward ports 5190-5200 for AIM file transfer. Need to put that on the FAQ.

AIM DirectIM uses 4443.

When I choose a "Custom..." away message, could we have it default to the last message and settings that were used? This was a great feature of 0.7x.

are there any plans to support status-on-sign-in, ala Mac MSN Messenger. This would be a great feature, but I realise you're winding down on new features for .8, but was just wondering.

I have the correct ports forwarded and I can receive files fine, but I am unable to send them to anyone. Any suggestions or information I can give that might help solve the problem?

I have the opposite . Sending files has nearly a 100% sucess rate, however, I can never recieve files. Most of the time when someone sends me a file, I am not even prompted. Any Suggestions?

latest svn fixed the positioning problem <3 you all =D

now the only problem im having is with all my emots not showing up

i got sounds to work now, but no growl worky for me on r9953

I'm currently running r9954, but I've updated a few times today, and several of the builds have had this problem.

Quitting/relaunching Adium resets the Contact List preferences back to its defaults.

Just updated to r9958. The problem still exists. Anyone else seeing this?

I guess I should clarify. The preferences remember the correct theme/layout [Status Coloring/Bubbles/Group Bubbles], but anything I set by clicking the "Customize..." buttons only sticks until the app is quit.

I guess the custom settings just aren't be written anywhere permanent yet?

The only issues I seem to be having is that my MSN contact list has gotten all screwed up. I moved some people from other contacts to buddies and now they will not move back. Also direct connect and file xfer does not work for me. Though I think the last issue is because I am running tiger 10.4 8a323 maybe?

Also how do you set yourself idle, or invisable now?

You can set invisible in the status prefs. As for idle it seems you can't fake idle anymore . Direct Connect still isn't implimented, but file transfer works fine for me.

Also with my current build, r9957, I don't have the contact list not remembering settings after quit problem.
