Adium Backup?

Post by fromeout11 »

Is there any possibility of Adium including a backup option in the future, or is there one available now? AIM included a way to export your buddy list or import a new one, I think it would be great if Adium included this in the future.

Peace out

A full backup feature, likely not. Import/Export of buddy lists, as found in the major clients, is certainly on the to-do list.

In the mean time, in Tiger, you can create a Burn folder and drop ~/Application Support/Adium 2.0/ in there and burn to disc every once in a while to have full archives.
Try my software!

#define ADIUMX pimp //by me
#define QUESTION ((2b) || (!2b))

You mean ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/ correct? ;)

But your answer was exactly what I was looking for, thanks. :)

If such a workflow is made, it'd be a nice thing to put up on adiumxtras :)
