- Please do not make promises about when features will make it into a release.
- Please do not report issues with SVN not compiling, with SVN crashing, etc., on the forums; feel free to email bugs@adiumx.com, but generally don't expect a response. If there is a problem in SVN, we are usually aware of it... the code base which is not on the current release branch is a playground for development, and sometimes toys do break. We release beta versions when we feel a release is ready; at this time, any issues which aren't in the Known Issues list are unknown, and we would love to hear about them at that time.
These requests are intended to limit confusion not to limit discussion. If you are discussing features which are only available (or problems which only exist) in current source, please do indicate in your post that you are using SVN, preferably along with your current revision number. We want the forums to be as exciting as possible, and certainly we believe cutting edge Adium development is exciting.
