Tick...don't you know anything? Only the Quebec province is French. Ontario and the rest are majority English. Hence the reason why Quebec wants to secede.

It's still part of Canada. Until it secedes, my point is valid.

Ah, "Technically correct", the best kind of correct.

Also, it's a "Spelling checker". A "Spell checker" is for magic.

Adium really needs a spell checker, i tried to transmute a lump of lead into gold using Adium the other day and now i can't get the horse dung out of my carpet.

It uses the system spell checker. We're not going to write a rather massive thing when the system provides it.

He wasn't asking for a custom spelling checker. Reread that part of his post in the context of the rest of his post.

He was trying to be funny, I was trying to be clear and bring the thread back onto some kind of topic.

In there you'll find a dropdown with installed languages. I have 3 kinds of english in there.
Where do I ctrl-click?
Would like to have some chats with german spelling and other in english, when I chat with forgein people (or like right now writing english in a browser) everything is marked as false. :(

Check out the Spelling per Contact plugin for 0.8x. Adium 1.0 includes this function automatically.

In the textfield where you write.

Without using the spelling per contact, you can use the multilingual dictionary.
It misses lots of mistakes, but catches quite a few (for me at least)
I'm going to check on that spelling per contact now.

It'd be great if you could assign more than one language to a person.
My girlfriend is Spanish, so usually we talk english, but she's learning french, so we sometimes speak french and I try to learn spanish, so sometimes we speak spanish!

(am I making things complicated here?)
