Sadly, there are still rules and yeah, they are not followed or enforced.
Hey mods, can you please try enforcing the rules?
And OT: I thought Adium Forums was moving? What ever happened to that?

On Topic:
Current screenshot - nobody on at the moment, really, so no msg windows open. You can see the contact list on the upper left side.

Detailed info about screenshot on DeviantArt link or click on thumbnail below for non-DA link w/out all the info/

I don't have time to do that. Want to be a mod?

They got moved.

Long term we're going to another forum software, we're waiting on the hardware to do that at the moment.

Alternatively I could just delete posts from people who don't follow the rules. Up to you guys.

Umm I think it'll just be easier if you just appoint someone mod for the thread.. and I guess repost the rules every once in while in the thread to remind people.

I would have done it, all you had to do was ask.

lol thanks. I didn't notice until I saw 'edit' option for all posts here.

I like cocoaforge, but I think it would be a good idea to use something else. Other boards have more features and options, and in general it would be nice to see a change/update.

Okay let's see...

Image
Contact List Color/Layout theme: a modified version of Morpheus
Window Style: Modern Bubbling
Wallpaper: here
stuff you might not recognize in the shot: I have SlimBatteryMonitor and iScrobbler in my menubar and I guess those are the only other 3rd party things you can see.

(That's more or less how you should be posting a screenshot. The actual rules are here.)

I just set the user icons to a pretty large size, put a status badge, limited the width of the window, and set it to transparent. It would be so cool if I could get a dock-like magnifying effect on this.
Some things you may or may not recognize...
In the Dock:
-The iPod Touch icon is my itunes (who uses CDs anymore?)
-The black box that says "Radio City" on it is a DockArt, a plugin for iTunes that shows the album art for the current song I'm listening to

That iChat icon will be off the dock as soon as adium comes out with audio\video :)

In the toolbar:
Google Notifier, iScrobbler (automatically scrobbles iTunes to Last.fm), AlarmClock, Sofa Control (extender for the apple remote), MenuCalendarClock (awesome app that integrates with iCal)

On the Side: Edgies, a better sticky note program[/img]

back after a long absence...

someone already linked the paper...

message theme: modern bubbling (modded the graphite header myself)
status icons: chat gems
contact list: my own creation, but several are available on the xtras site
toolbar icons: leopard toolbar (available on xtras site)

good to be back :)
gotta get me a leopard though...i feel so behind

I hate to crack the whip, but please follow the thread rules. They're there to improve the thread.
2) Please do not post the full screenshot inline. You may post a scaled down version however. Please keep this to a minimum, 400x400 max.

3) Please include the following information where possible:

- Background link
- Link to all Xtras used.
- Link to any strange new application nobody has heard of.

This is to reduce the amount of replies in order to get this information. Out of these 3, the most important is the Background image link.

I'm pretty sure that gets styled with the group name text, so unless the group name text is invisible, or more opaque, that can't be...
