★ Adium Screenshot Thread ★

Post by The_Tick »

This is where you can post screenshots of Adium. As we've had 4 of these threads already, these rules have come out of this:

1) No pornography please. Keep things safe for work.

2) Please do not post the full screenshot inline. You may post a scaled down version however. Please keep this to a minimum, 400x400 max.

3) Please include the following information where possible:

- Background link
- Link to all Xtras used.
- Link to any strange new application nobody has heard of.

This is to reduce the amount of replies in order to get this information. Out of these 3, the most important is the Background image link.

4) All screenshots require that Adium be present in them. This is about Adium.

Here is a link to the previous Screenshots Thread

And with that, happy screenshotting!

Color Theme: Aqua Grid
List Layout: Tablets
Window Style: Group Bubbles

Dock stuff you might not recognise: Azureus, Colloquy, Firefox

Background: I know it's bad ass, but I got it from a private forum thread elsewhere with people showing off their photography skills, so I dont feel it's right to post a direct link w/o their permission

Contact List Color/Layout them: AppleGUI with 5% Opticity set
Message Window Style: Just Smooth Operator/Glass mix I did with transparent background

ShapeShifter Theme: RULER Aero
Desktop Picture: Epic Falls

Also using ClearDock to make Dock transparent.
Menubar icons you see: Adium, WeatherDock, Yahoo! Widgets, Growl, and MenuMeters

Umm...I have a bad habit of changing all my icons for apps and such, esp anything in the dock, so I guess there's no real point in trying to list what apps I might have there :)

Screeny

Background: Nothing Personal by Applegeeks.
Status Icons: Tama Icons by me.
Message Style: Eclipse by dzhim (I'm not posting a link because the one on the xtras site seems to be broken, and I'm using a fixed version that I don't remember the source of and can't find)

Also, I should note that I use contact list hiding in 1.0 beta, just so nobody thinks I have that mammoth thing on my screen all the time ;)

I noticed you have a group called Mounds View (I'm assuming that's MN, since you go to the U). I live like 5 miles from there (Roseville).

TinkerTool provides a way to change various "hidden" OS X settings (as opposed to setting them in Terminal).

Screenshot

The background is a picture I took a while ago. The message view is a slightly modified Chameleon. The contact list is iPhoto as a color theme and Light Rain as a list layout, but I have a feeling I modified one or both of those.

For those looking for the background of MacOSX's pic it is from this pic: http://www.flickr.com/photos/etchalon/197706172/
