i was putting a picture in my buddy list and i was wondering if there is any way that i could select the part of teh picture to show up, because the picture is much wider than the buddy list.
Will i have to edit the picture to make it fit a bit better or would i be able to use something like the picture chooser for it?

In Adium 0.80, you'll be able to specify if it should be stretched automatically to fit, tiled, etc.
