Hey, I have a quick question that searching the forums didn't show a result for. Basically, I made a mod, the Sonic the Hedgehog soundset (see my signature for a link) that I updated. With 1.0 coming out soon, I tested out the beta and noticed just having a file in the folder no longer makes it show up in the alerts list unless you list them in the text file.

So I updated my file to include all the extra sounds I included with the package so you could select them if you wanted to replace a sound. However, it's been verifying for about 3 weeks now, and there's been no update on the Xtras page for a few days.

I was wondering how long it takes to go through those extras and approve them, what the holdup was, or if there's something "bad" about my soundset. I can't imagine the latter, because it's been up with over 3,000 downloads, and this is a simple fix/update.

Well, speaking for myself, the xtras site forgot my login cookie when I switched browsers, and I hadn't noticed that that was why the number of unapproved xtras wasn't showing. It's approved now.

There's currently 21 mods in queue.

The people we promote to verify xtras tend to stop doing anything after a few days, every time. It always seems to fall back on evan going in and verifying, or me verifying the few that I care to test.

Heh, well that might explain it then. But thanks for putting up mine then so quickly after I posted this.
