Cant send/recieve files or direct connect with AIM

Post by Totosan »

I cannot send or recieve files on my AIM account, I've tried getting a new account and removing all my Xtras, but it still won't work. Also, I cannot directly connect to people on AIM as well. What should I do?

File transfer will be vastly improved in 0.8

Dirrect Connect will be improved in the future; for now, it doesn't work

Is it possible that you can say when 0.78 will be released?

It's 0.8 - and the common answer around here is "when it's ready". :)

No problem - personally I think the devs should have all alcohol privileges removed until it's done, that'd speed them up ;)

If you are too impatient and want a "nightly" right now, go to:
http://www.adiumx.com/development.php
And follow the directions there! (it requires XCode)
