[newbie] file sharing via AIM?

Postby shthap3ns » Fri Aug 04, 2006 8:50 am

Hey all,

New user to AdiumX. I just got Mac OSx running on my Hackintosh and was looking for a client other than AIM 4.7 to use for file sharing with my buddies. Unfortunately I couldn't find that option with AdiumX...is this option available and I'm just too noob to find it? Or does it not exist? Any suggestions would help...thanks alot!

To send a file in Adium Right click (or control click) on their name and choose Send File.
Look here for more information: http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/FileTransfer

AIM File Sharing is partially implemented in the library we'll be using for AIM connectivity in 1.0... which is a fancy way of saying, "you can't do it yet, but it is something we plan for the future".
The duck still burns.
