I keep seing names on my list that start w/ [c=#####] and other funny formats, I was wondering if there was a way ignore these characters on the contact list.
That looks like a coloured name. MSN (i think) colours names in the format of $68414 so i don't think Kypt is using MSN and therefore MSN plus would be useless for himKypt wrote:I keep seing names on my list that start w/ [c=#####] and other funny formats, I was wondering if there was a way ignore these characters on the contact list.

Yes MSN+ does do colours (and so does Mercury Messenger) (and i would of course like support for this but we're getting off topic!djmori wrote:AFAIS coloured names are a feauture of msn plus. Code: Select all
[c=#000000]·#·$[c=4]????[/c]David[c=4]????[/c] ·0[/c]Yah, thats what I'm doing right now but would love to see it implemented and allow for the ignore option of these chars.m2e wrote:My solution for the problem was to just give them an alias. Though it would be appreciated if Adium could ignore or obey these style codes.
