Ive just spent the last 10-15 minutes installing Adium on my MacBook Pro. Everything was set up, I then shut down Adium and loaded it back up I have two msn accounts one of them has had all the contacts deleted and the other has had about 75% of them deleted and when i used msn messenger to log on my cotacts arnt showing there either.

Which version of Adium are you using?

On the frontpage now Adium X 0.89.1

Are you sure your contacts are online?
(On 0.89.1, Adium doesn't display your offline contacts) Try this: Menu View>Show Offline Contacts. Can you see them now?

my contact list has just dissapeared I know how to show offline contacts they were all there i had about 20 contacts re-booted adium and they all dissapeared

You should file a trac ticket when you have problems. They get a lot more attention than forum posts and these posts often fall through the cracks.

It seems like this is your problem:

http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket/108, however it is for AIM not MSN. You might want to search for a similar ticket that involves MSN, and if you don't find one, create a new one.

I feel you pain, dude. The same thing jsut happened to me. My Adium was working fine for me last night, and then when I signed on this morning all my MSN contacts were gone (except 3). My MSN on this comptuer also won't work. But when I log onto my account on a different computer it works fine. So I don't know what the deal is here.
