You currently can't do this in Adium. The only work around i can think of is to create a hotmail account.

So, as I expected, I have to wait until the next revision of Adium, right?

For MSN and Yahoo! Adium relies on libgaim library. So in other words, when libgaim gets support for this, Adium will soon follow. The next version of adium (1.0) is currently in beta, so a feature like this would unlikely be included in the next version.

Yahoo Messenger for mac supports this right now, you can try that in the meantime.

No, they are currently working on getting Adium 1.0 out, which will not support this unfortunately.
