I've just decided to try Adium and I have my first problem. I have to readd some of my ICQ buddies, no big deal. But I also have to re-request authorization. Is there no way to just add buddies without authorization? It makes Adium rather useless atm, because most of my friends are incapable of hitting the authorize button without rererererequesting
. Which I can understand, since most authorization requests are only spam anyway (for those who have web status enabled).Edit: Btw the reason why I have to do this is strange. I added all my buddies with Miranda (server side). So Adium only had to import the contact list and everything would be fine. But some users on the list appeared offline despite being online. So I guess there's a link between this and the authorization request. I hope this is not libgaim based.
Edit2: I tried to edit the blist.xml but somehow it gets overwritten at the next restart of adium.
