This has been a pretty old bug for me. If I disconnect the ethernet cable or close my laptop, when I open it up again (or reconnect the cable) Adium will hang for a good 5 minutes before reconnecting. At this point when I try to do anything with it it says "Application not responding". I can force quit and restart Adium again and it reconnects fine. But otherwise it just hangs there before reconnecting on its own after 5 minutes. Pretty annoying!

Do you guys have any clue?

Nobody else has experienced this before?

It just sits there for a good 5 minutes apparently trying to connect or do something.

Are you using the latest version of Adium (.76)?
