AIM: Authentication Failed

All of a sudden, I got booted from AIM. instead of going through the connection animations, the dock icon just kind of blinks, and then I get a message saying "authentication failed". The rest of my AIM screen names work. However, I cannot use the official client with this name either. I get a generic 'error has occured' message when I try it.
Not too sure what to do, and any help would be great!

EDIT: I panicked, reinstalled (which is not fun!) and it didn't seem to help at first, but magically it is working now. I hope this doesn't happen again!
