I understand why I can't keep up, we have talked about this before, but I wanted to make it clear to anyone who is waiting for my icons that I'm not going to get them done that fast. Actually the first month I started this, I was going just as fast. I even posted a website because the X(tras) did not let you submit stuff yet. I thought I could convert all of Laura's icons in 3 months. Well it's been well over a year. Making this stuff is fun, but if I'm forcing myself to do it it's not fun anymore. That's also the reason I only make icons I think will be fun or are one a Laura's.Lysistrata wrote:I'm sure I've put some unreasonable time frames on all the other icon creators. If anyone is feeling pressured to keep up with me, please remember that this is, in a sense, my job. I sit in front of a computer for 8+ hours staring at Photoshop graphics constantly. I work in television news so I'm dealing with the bad stuff in the world all day long. These icons have become my stress reliever. I crave looking at ducks in silly-looking costumes....Okay, now I sound insane.wunderwood wrote:I can't quite keep Lysistrata's time schedule, but I do what I can.![]()
Anyways, my point was that I think it's natural to get tired of doing graphics, Wunderwood. Lord knows I do. I'm sure we all get excited to see new dock icons regardless of who created them and when.
And no one should expect you to be as obsessed as I am.

To be honest the speed you are producing these icons is almost comical.

That's what I was trying to get across as well. Just trying to help a brother out.wunderwood wrote:I wanted to make it clear to anyone who is waiting for my icons that I'm not going to get them done that fast.

I think he was looking for a dock icon, not just the picture. Right? If so, I don't think it's been made into an icon yet. And that would be a Wunderwood or Beemer job.beemer wrote:http://homepage.mac.com/psiona/

You shouldn't be thinking of it as a job. Are you having fun doing this still?
