No MSN status messages

Hi

I can't see my contacts' status messages on Adium.
Is there any solutsion?

What version of Adium are you using?
Are you talking about "On the phone" kind of status or "I'm out with Sally" sort of status? If you want to see the first one hover your mouse over a contact and it should show beside status (I'm not too sure how to get it to show in the contact list).

For the second kind of status, though my knowledge is a bit hazy, Adium doesn't support. I know its possible to set in one of the windows versions (probably msn plus). I think this custom status is sent at the end of the nickname of the user in curly brackets such as: Brad is ultra cool {I'm out with Sally}. So you might want to check the end of your friends nicknames to see if you can see that. This has worked for me sometimes but not other times, so hopefully it will help but if it doesn't I won't be too surprised

This is very MSN specific... has it occurred to you he might be using a non-MSN protocol?

he probably means MSN's personal message though, which is still being worked on for gaim, some of us are hoping it gets moved to the main branch soon.

There is a ticket for it, but it won't be in 1.0.
