destination for file transfers

Post by zzarg »

Am I missing something *really* obvious (it's late and I've had a long day) but... if there somewhere I can set in preferences to decide where file transfers end up ?

And while I'm at it, it is possible somehow to allow/disallow incoming files from particular users

1) Not in .7x.
2) Yes in .8 (or SVN)
3) The only setting applicable is "accept only from users on buddy list", as found in most clients, also in .8.
Try my software!

#define ADIUMX pimp //by me
#define QUESTION ((2b) || (!2b))

Question: How does this interact with unknown people automatically being thrown into the "Orphan" group? Is there some way for malicious users to force their way onto the trusted list? (Just thinking security-wise…)
