Hey guys, i'm getting frustrated with my profile in adium, and i dont know how to fix it. i have mac os x if that makes a difference...

anyways, i cant get the wingdings font (and a few others) to show up in my profile. when i try to click on it, it automatically sets it to Lucida Grande. Also, i can't get my background color to change, either for one line or the whole profile. i know how to, but the button i click doesnt do anything when i try to change it.

what do i do?? i'm so mad i'm turning into a mad little red gear haha

just as an fyi, and it might help the people solving your problems sometimes, "mac os x" is not very specific. Try looking under the Apple Menu > About this mac... and then typing out what version of Mac OS X you're using (for instance, 10.4.7)

As for your problems, I have the same problem with backgrounds... and I seem to think we had wingding problems? I'm not sure if they ever got fixed because I don't use them.

yea, wingdings is where most of those pictures from those "put this in your profile" messages come from. theres a picture in that thats an inside joke with my friend that we both have there but i cant put it in. its sad haha

does copy paste from another application (or another guy's profile) work?

well, it shows up on my editable profile, but when people view mine, it just looks like a really small blue dot, even though i have it on font 48.

any suggestions?
