I've always wanted a dock badge icon for Adium and I recently stumbled across it here: http://trac.adiumx.com/browser/trunk/Pl ... %20Badging


Now, I have no idea how to install this and get it working. I looked in the Plug-Ins folder when you show the contents of Adium, but I didn't find anything simliar.


Can anyone help?

Explain exactly what you want... like the "You have this many new messages" thing that mail does?

If that's what you're looking for, im pretty sure it was added in the next version of Adium. If you're comfortable using beta software, try out the 1.0 beta. It might have what you're looking for.

1.0 beta (http://beta.adiumx.com) already has the badging set up.
