Newbie Question

I can't find the answer to this. I can't figure out how people that are NOT on my buddy list are able to contact me. Isn't there a setting to only allow people on buddy list or something like that? Sorry for the newbie question but I could not find the answer anywhere.

If you are using version .89.1, then you should be able to set this option in the official client, and Adium will honor it.

If you are using the 1.0 beta, then go to the 'Adium' menu and select 'Privacy Settings...'
