Editing CSS for message styles?

Post by Ænima »

Is it possible to edit the CSS for a message style xtra? I like a few xtras but it seems that there is always a little something in each of the ones I like that bug me. I don't have the time to learn how to and create my own completely custom theme so I was hoping that there was some way to just edit the CSS in one of the already made xtras.

Right click or control click it and choose "show package contents". All the files will be in there.

It is quite easy really if you know CSS. Select the extra in the Finder (User/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Message Styles) and then choose View Package Contents in the contextual menu. You can then edit the css file.
For more information look at this tutorial: http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/CreatingMessageStyles
