The easiest way to learn is by looking at / editing someone elses. In Finder go to Home/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Sounds and choose a sound set. Right click (control click) on the sound set and choose "Show Package Contents".
basically what a sound set is, is a group of sound files with a .plist file telling Adium what they are.

Rename the folder to be YourName.adiumSoundset (or whatever the extension is). The Finder will prompt you and once you agree, bam!savemefromtears wrote:so I have a folder with the mp3s and the text file to associate action with the sound, but is there also a plist file somewhere i have to make?
also, how do I bundle it into an adium soundset?
