Ok I'm new to Adium, and CSS. I'm learning as I go, so bear with me here.
The situation- I have modified GoneDark so I can use custom fonts, and I changed the colors around a good deal.
The final things I want for this style are the following
1) Buddy icons in the chat.
2) To have the shadow on the usernames be different. Specifically I'd like to keep the shadow on the other persons username black, and change the shadow on my username to white.
I've looked around on google, and in the forums but couldn't find anything that dealt with the shadows (which is the major thing I want, buddy icons would be nice, but not a huge deal).
Like I said I am new to CSS, I have, what I think, is a good editor (Style Master 4.5.1) currently in demo (which is full featured for x amount of days).
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know CSS either, but these might point you in the right direction:

I'd seen those before, and though they are good guides, they didn't help. Thanks though, I do appreciate it.
I figured out the alternating shadows, oddly enough it was easier to set up in textedit than in the editor I was using. Well not set up, but to see what I should do.
I can live without the user icons, I'd done so with Fire, and now that I think about it including the user icon would probably make the style ugly.
Now it's just a matter of tweaking the other shadow. Ah hexadecimal coding ugh.
Oh and for the future folks out there who are looking for an answer .message1.username and message2.username then just put the text styling you want under each. In my case GoneDark was already set up so I just needed to remove the shadow styling from the pre-defined .username and add it to message1.username and message2.username then change the one I wanted.
