Buddies in MSN see me as offline all the time

Hi all,
I really like Adium (just switched from Fire) but none of my contacts see me as being online. I can message them and they can message me but I always look greyed out to them. I have tried trashing my prefs and changing to the http connection. Any ideas?

Log into MSN official Messenger; maybe you need to authorize some of your friends. (Sometimes some msn's "requests" doesn't appear in adium)

I had exactly the same problem. Loaded up MSN Messenger and sure enough, up opped two dialogs boxes asking me to authorise two of my buddies.
Needless to say, they now see my correct status.

Well, the sky isn't so blue in my own list ^^
My conatcts see me offline or idle when I'm not ! I understand why now when I go to MSN 4, I got instantly 4 windows of friends saying "hello" and no one when I'm on Adium... most of the time, I'm idle but that's not right... and some of them are surprised to see an offline contact chatting...
Every release is a new hope, but it still not working correctly... that's too bad, Adium is the best (and the only one usefull) IM interface on Mac...
Anybody knows ? ^^

try and add your contacts again on Adium X... ie.. delete and re-add. and pref do it while they are online.
