AIM connectivity problems?

Post by petri »

Has anyone else had similar problems with AIM lately using Adium 0.76? For some reason while I'm away from the computer for an extended amount of time (say, to sleep) it seems that the connection to the AIM servers is either disconnecting or for some reason telling Adium that all my friends are offline (when their not).

Its just sort of weird so I thought I'd ask :-)

Cheers.

The AIM servers cycle overnight, most nights, at about 4 am central... in the process, most clients get disconnected, and there's something bizarre about the disconnection in that when we reconnect the server tells us we're online but doesn't ever complete the connection process. It's under investigation :)
